Bio:

Music has always been a part of my life. I played the glockenspiel for
highschool band. I have fond memories of summer vacation hanging out with the guys in my mom's living room, jamming on our guitars (I was the first to get an electric). We always had a variety of instruments in our home from banjos to tamborines, recorders, muraccas, and several guitars. There were more instruments than there were people living in our house. Music was must have been ingrained in my soul. Even after graduation, when everyone else had gone their own way, I was using my youthful good looks to sneak back into under age dances just to follow some of the local bands. I had the itch bad.

I grew up listening to everything from Kiss to the Partridge Family. (Bet you'd never thought you'd see those two names in the same sentence.) My earliest influences were the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Angel, Jethro Tull, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Elton John, Rush, Peter Frampton, REO, Montrose, and Travers.

I am a Midwestern girl, raised in America’s heartland, St. Louis Missouri. There we followed the bands through Laclede's Landing and West County. Besides Ike and Tina Turner, the other band that made it big was an 80's band named Broken Toyz that for legal reasons had to change their name. You now know them as KingoftheHill. (Hi, Frankie where ever you are.) It's always a thrill to watch a local band you follow become big. It's like sharing a good secret with the rest of the world. On the downside, you lose that personal touch. My best advice to up-and-coming bands is to not forget your roots and the locals that support you.

Currently, I'm a computer consultant and MacEvangelist. My job brought me to Atlanta via Chicago, via Mobile. When not behind my computer screen, you can usually find me outdoors or vacationing at dude ranches. I love riding horses and enjoy the forests around our house and our Japanese water gardens and Koi. When I am not doing the back-to-nature thing, I try to re-create it through my art or writing. I throw pottery, blow glass, and write books, poetry, and for periodicals. So I’m hoping I have finally found the proper right-brain/left-brain balance.

Playtime consists of pinball, hands down over video games. Even a good old board game will do. You can also find me playing with my blue and gold macaw or performing a little magic at parties. Athough I played softball and basketball as a kid, I'm not into sports accept that I do “Bleed Blue.” If you don't know what that means, ask someone from Missouri to "Show Me."

On chilly nights, my stress relief comes via my hot tub over looking my ponds, with some incense, a beer, and tuned into HardRockin80s.com.
