I'm new to these boards, but I wanted to start off by showing you my band Snakeskyn Whiskey,

we're an 80's inspired hard rock/metal band from Montreal,

our debut album Payments Made in Madness was released in september 2011, and i currently on iTunes.

Welcome to the HR80s community! Is there any way we can get a promo copy of the cd for airplay - you definitely fit in here...It's great to see new bands carrying the torch!

Not too bad at all! Now, please don't take the following the wrong way, but I did find the vocals a bit borderlining on strained, but good. I also liked the second lead better than the first. I am a guitarist, lead vocalist and also have a degree in audio engineering so please don't take my criticism too negatively. I really do like it overall and would like to hear more!

Just liked your FB page! What I meant was that it sounded to me that there were two styles of lead in the guitar solo, like two different guys playing.

nono the solo is done entirely by me, I just have many different tastes in msuic, and liek to diversify when I write my solos, that and I change scales midway!

Do you guys offer the tunes on cd? I'm kinda old school and like the physical copy with liner notes etc. if I can get that.

Just watched the live montage of songs. Thumbs up! Ok on the solo. I thought the second portion was stronger, then. I really liked that part!

I dig it...you wouldn't happen to be French Canadian (as in French was primary language) as that might explain a little of the vocal sound the others are talking about.
